Student at a college or university
You already have classroom hours and lab access in your fees — use them hard, because timetabled lab time with real equipment is exactly the scarce thing self-funders pay R15k for. What the academic route under-delivers is volume and currency: a semester gives you a handful of supervised practicals, spaced weeks apart, on whatever hardware the lab owns. Wiring a sensor into a real input card, watching a real contactor pull in, feeling how much torque a terminal screw wants — the physical layer is genuinely taught in a good classroom course and genuinely absent online. Instructor unblocking. The best feature of the format. A stuck learner alone loses an evening to a wrong contact type; a stuck learner in a classroom loses ninety seconds.
